Pathway

It can be difficult to land a job when you have little to no experience. Usually, that first job is not fulfilling, laden with menial tasks, and not much in the way of career guidance.

The start

Ideally, you are already somewhat proficient in React and Javascript, understand how components work and have a few projects completed.

How long

There is no shortcut to gaining technical skills. The time it takes to go through these steps varies, but it’s usually around 12 to 18 months. We believe in the 10,000 hour rule.

Quid pro quo

We are going to put effort to bring you up to speed while you work on one of our open source projects. This gets us started on working together, and as your skills improve, we progressively challenge you with harder tasks while mentoring you.

Learning

In the movie “The Matrix” Neo jacked the Kung Fu module and absorbed the knowledge in 10 hours.
In real life it’s not that quick, even though we wish it were. It’s going to need a lot of hours to study and master things (really master them). Be ready for that.
